marriage
The institution established by God for the union of a man and a woman in one flesh, the procreation of children, and the help and comfort given and received by each of them in prosperity and adversity. In this institution the man and the woman are to love, honor, and be faithful to each other until death parts them. It is entered into by the public exchange of promises.
stewardship
The use of all that you are and have in service to God and your neighbor.
just war
When a nation goes to war to defend itself and its citizens against foreign aggression.
fornication
Seeking sexual gratification outside of marriage with others or alone.
sexuality
The gift of being either male or female for the expression of love in marriage, and when it is God's will, for the procreation of children.
fidelity
To be faithful to your marriage vows, or any promises that you make.
stealing
Taking for yourself what God has not given or provided, withholding support from those in need, and failing to take care of your responsibiliies with the gifts God has given you, such as paying taxes, supporting charities, and helping your neighbor in need.
false testimony (or false witness)
To lie in any way, to withhold the truth or remain silent when our neighbor's good name is being attacked, to use the truth for the purpose of injuring our neighbor, to pass judgment against our neighbor when we have not been appointed to do so.
good name
A person's standing or reputation in the eyes of other people.
