- abortion
- Killing a child in the womb of its mother.
- property
- All the material gifts which God has given you over which He has appointed you a steward.
- vocation (or calling)
- The position in life in which God has placed you, such as husband, wife, father, mother,
son, daughter, employer, employee, etc. It includes your life' work and the responsiblities
you have been given by God toward others.
- murder
- Hatred, anger, or grudge-bearing against a person.
Killing a human life not in self-defense, including abortion, euthanasia (or mercy killing), and unjust wars.
- the quality of life
- How modern man measures the worth of human life by how comfortable and happy people are.
- capital punishment
- When the government puts to death criminals for the crimes that they commit, such as murder and rape.
- adultery
- Giving the physical, emotional, and spiritual devotion that rightly belongs to your spouse to someone else;
breaking the marriage vows of lifelong faithfulness;
having voluntary sexual relations with someone who is not your spouse; or entertaining such thoughts.
- homosexuality
- Seeking the gratification of sexual desires for a person of one's own sex,
since such desires are sinful and contrary to God's design.
- the law of love/the great commandments
- The summary of the Law's demand upon us in relation to God and your neighbor:
"'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength,
and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself'" (Luke 10:27).
